Hi, I'm Tim Boucher. I live in Baltimore, MD (USA).
I am a stagehand, carpenter, scenic artist and occasional bit part actor. My experiences in technical theatre and production provide a springboard for historical research and writing about traveling performance traditions and labor in entertainment.
Friends have described me as an 'itinerant scholar.' I have kept a public blog detailing my excursions since 2003, from which I earn a part-time income through web advertising. I am also an avid gardener, chess player, amateur radio operator, folk musician, juggler and friend to animals.
