Electronic Reliquary Arm

I created this image after looking at lots of photos of Medieval reliquaries. Reliquaries are religious artifacts which contain bodyparts or sometimes ashes of saints. They were often sculpted according to the shape of what they contained. One that held a hand or fragment of an arm bone would be shaped like that. In this image, I was imagining that this could be used in some kind of futuristic setting as an electronic device. I’m not really sure what it would be used for, but it seemed like a weird and cool idea. Almost like tapping into the spiritual energy of the saint electronically.
It’s also a loose reference to the Nintendo power glove that I loved so much growing up, but never actually even once played with…
