Glow Boy

This is one of the images I made in Photoshop back when I was first getting the hang of using a Wacom drawing tablet. I still think it’s a really awesome image. The key thing that I was trying to achieve was a sort of painterly layering quality. The way that I got it to really work was discovering starting on a black background and building up semi-transparent layers and strokes on top of that. I would love to come back in and work more with this style in the future.
