Go Fly A Kite!

I created this image back when I was living in Brooklyn. I spent a lot of time on the computer because I was pretty poor and couldn’t afford to go out too much. But it was time well spent though, looking back as I did a lot of good writing and art. Anyway, this piece I made for this girl who I sort of liked at the time. She was into kites, as I recall. I thought the drawing was pretty damned awesome, but her reaction to it wasn’t really what I was hoping for. Anyway, that’s a whole other story, but I think this is a great style which I would love to come back and adapt for a really nice children’s book illustration…
