Books, Baby, Books!
Yeah, today is a great day. Yesterday my niece was born to my sister Mary and her husband Frank. They named her Brenna. She was big and took a long time to come out, I hear, just like the rest of us. Hehe. Anyway, I looked up the name, and found out that Brenna is a Celtic name, which means “Little Raven,” which is just a spectacular thing for a name to mean. I am gonna go try to visit them in a weekend or two, probably with my brother Peter when he comes up.
Also today, I received five - count em - FIVE books in the mail, and I am greatly excited about all of them. They are:
- History of Hell, by Alice K Turner. This book I lent to my friend John a while ago, and he liked it so much he kept it, but bought me a new one. How sweet. I bought this book originally about a year and a half ago, because I was having strange dreams about Hell.
- The Astrology of Personality, by Dane Rhudyar, who I have been mentioning a lot lately, i think. My Auntie Sue bought me this, and the rest of the books on this list.
- Many Lives, Many Masters, by Brian Weiss. A classic about reincarnation. I think I will start reading this one on the subway home from work today.
- The Only Way to Learn Astrology, by Marion March. This ones wrapped in plastic, which is a special treat. Hehe. Well, honestly, I’m already skeptical of it, because it calls itself “the only way,” but I’ll give it a shot at least, for additional perspective. And hey, like I said, its wrapped in plastic, come on!
- Mirrors of Time. Another Brian Weiss book, but this one specifically about past life regression, which is interesting. Auntie Sue is very into Brian Weiss, and apparently went to some workshops with him or something.
Anyway, its about time for me to head home. Huzzah! Talk to you soon.
- Grab your books and run like hell
- “You And Me Baby” by Big Elk [Lyrics]
- Crowley Books?
- Google skewing research
- Conspiracy at the Bookstore
- Prev: Doug
- Next: Saturday, Solstice, rainy as hell
