Auroch, with an “s”
Apparently, according to Dictionary.com, the real spelling is “aurochs,” which when typed into google, yielded more results. I found, so far, this thing, where some guys “back-breeded” cattle in order to re-aquire, more or less, the characteristics of the ancient aurochs. Apparently they also did this with a type of horse, called the Tarpan. I was always a big fan of those ancient precursor mammals that were all huge and stuff. They ruled. I think Discovery Channel put out some special about prehistoric beasts, that I always wanted to get and watch the crap out of.
Since today is devoted to weird cows that I like, I also really like the Highland Cattle. They are super cool looking. I’ve also always loved those gigantic draft horses, like percherons and clydesdales and whatnot. I used to and still might have this toy/figurine thingy of a clydesdale that I totally loved. Hm, well, if you’re looking to buy a draft horse online, you can. Weird.
