Aron just sent me this completely weird-ass article about “apotemnophilia” or people who are obsessed with amputation, that is, who are otherwise healthy, but feel like they can’t really become who they are unless they have a limb amputated. And there are apparently “a growing number” of people with this condition, plus there is some documentary about it coming out, called Whole. It sounds really weird. Wait no, it doesn’t just “sound” weird. What am I saying? It is weird. Weird weird weird.
