Aron just sent me this completely weird-ass article about “apotemnophilia” or people who are obsessed with amputation, that is, who are otherwise healthy, but feel like they can’t really become who they are unless they have a limb amputated. And there are apparently “a growing number” of people with this condition, plus there is some documentary about it coming out, called Whole. It sounds really weird.
