Bone Rings
I just found this through some other weblog or something that I happened upon. It’s called Biojewelry, and from what I can gather, it started as some graduate art program in England. Basically, what they describe is that a couple undergoes a biopsy, in which each of them has a sample of their bone tissue removed. Then, the tissue is harvested in a lab, and grown around a ring. And, the couple each wears the other person’s bone ring. That’s totally cool. I should probably go back and revise that thing I wrote about my will, and all the stuff that should be done with me when I’m dead, to include a bunch of weird items made out of bone.
