I just found out about the best damn band today, through AllMusic, they are called The Polyphonic Spree, and there are anywhere from 23-29 people in the band, and they sound sort of like the Flaming Lips or old school Beach Boys, but imagine that with a 10 member chorus and a bunch of other crap. Its fucking solid. They are playing in Brooklyn at the Warsaw on August 15th, and at Central Park SummerStage August 16, for FREEEEEE! I’m totally going to one or both of those! Plus I’m gonna run out and buy their album as soon as I get the chance. I don’t run out screaming into the streets to buy albums every day, either. So let that be a lesson to you - this is good!
