I know it’s sort of stupid and cheesy and played out, but whenever I hear Peter Gabriel’s “In your eyes” it totally causes this just surge of emotion in me. Like it makes me look at everything from this other angle, and makes me aware of like, I don’t know, my life and the limitations I place on myself. Or something totally corny and embarrassing like that. You know, it reminds me also of that part in “Say Anything” where John Cusack holds up the boombox outside that girl’s apartment, and its playing that song. And is it raining? I don’t know. It should be raining. In either case, yeah, amazing song.
