Doors in time

This is a really cool article about a place on the Mexican border, where supposedly time becomes randomly altered. It’s centered around this hill with all these geodes, and a stone archway at the top. And apparently, it sometimes becomes charged, and people can disappear through the archway, ending up - so the story goes - in other time periods.

Kind of reminds me of a Sandman comic I read, I think called “The soft lands” or “the soft places”. I forget. But anyway, the comic was about regions of the world where the boundaries are “soft” and you can travel between them, sort of like overlapping time-space, and that you can also travel into the land of dreams too.
