Uh oh! Just when everyone though Mel Gibson was too big for his britches already, he goes ahead and makes a movie called “Passions” about the final hours of “Our Lord” Jesus Christ. People describe it as “beautiful, magical, a great and important work” according to this news article about it on Salon. Wow! I guess maybe he just felt like this was the next and biggest challenge he could find. Any bets that it’s going to be superbly crappy?
