No more holograms, Big Bangs or anything

Well I finally finished that book, the “Holographic Universe,” and I recommend it, even though it wasn’t all that mind-bending after you got used to their basic concepts. Really, an encapsulated form of the same thing, like that article I linked you to a week or so ago, is probably more than enough for most people, although, if you’re really into holograms and shit, I don’t know.

Last night at the Turkey’s Nest, some kid was trying to talk to us about the Big Bang, and I was all saying how that was a completely made up theory, a scientific contrivance. But then he just walked off somewhere in a drunken stupor, before I could really launch into how the universe is a hologram, the Big Bang is fake, and Darwinian Evolution is fundamentally flawed as a theory. That last one was Pavan’s. I never really thought about it, but Darwinian Evolution is kind of an incomplete theory, and Pavan was saying how mathematically, there is no way it would ever allow for the development of something so complex as the human mind. Worth looking into more.
