So yeah, I have decided to try and start reading more of other people’s blogs, and spelunking around for ones of people I don’t know. I always have a hard time getting into ones from people I don’t already know from “real life” or whatever, cause the stuff just seems boring or trivial, but when its somebody I know, its easy and comfortable, and I get it. Bret said it best when he described it as being just like the feeling of talking to your friend at the bar. But yeah, I have a real insatiable hunger for frequently updated content now. It helps get me through my bland days at work, and I don’t know, its just super fun.

So, I’m on the prowl for “cool new blogs” to read on a regular basis. I am starting my search at that NYCbloggers.com site, and going through their HUGE text listing of all their members. It’s quite daunting, cause there seem to be thousands. Right now, I am just saving links to ones with good titles/descriptions, and will start filtering down to ones that hold my interest once I get in the thick of them. It’s actually surprisingly hard to find ones with even good descriptions and titles. Almost all of them are like “This is a blog where I talk about useless uninteresting crappy pointless stuff in my horribly pathetic bland stereotypical life.” I mean, come on people. Don’t sell yourself short here. I feel like any and everyone can and should manage to write an interesting blog. I feel like all you have to do is be (1) honest and (2) detailed. And that’s about it. Oh, and I certainly do appreciate (3) updated with perverted frequency, like mine.

Alright, well, and if I like your stuff, I’ll even pop a permanant link over into that “Blogs I read” list! What an honor, right? You should be so lucky! Hehe. Alright, back to “work”.
