Soannoying
Man, this Sobig virus is really annoying. I have probably gotten 20 emails in the past 24 hours, where it says one of those MAILER-DAEMON failure warnings, and then has some file that I am supposedly to ignorantly click on, releasing some kind of worm onto my machine. What do they think I am, stupid? Who clicks on shit like that? Addmittedly, the mail-failure notice thing is a better scam than one of those ones where its like all foreign phrasing and it says something like:
“Please to enjoy one famous screensaver”
As though I was expecting an email from someone in China with a new screensaver. Come on. I always wanted to start an email virus that said in the subject line “Here is the Virus you requested!” And then the text of the email contains instructions on how to activate the virus, and all of the bad stuff it will do to your computer.
The other weird thing with this new Sobig virus is that I am only getting it in my one super-private email address, and not in any of my other more spam-friendly ones. I wonder why? Ah the joys of internet chicanery!
