Dammit. I found this a while back: StoryCon World’s First Meeting on the Art, Science and Application of Story. I’d really really like to go to it, and see what other people in the same industry-dealy are doing and talking about. I feel like it could be really important for the future development of my ideas. Maybe if I land some freelance work in the next few weeks (i mean get paid for some freelance work), I could go. All told though, it seems pretty expensive, cause it involves flying to California, hotel, and conference costs, which arent cheap at all. Maybe I should start one of those donation fund dealies on my site, but I’m sure that will never work, especially not in the span of a couple weeks to raise like a cool grand. Oh well. I guess theres always next year or something.
