This is truly fantastic news that I just found out. The BBC is going to open its entire library to the public, FOR FREE, on the internet! That includes radio and TV programs that you can just download! For nothing! That is simply staggering! I can’t freaking wait! There’s a quote from the BBC’s director, “I believe that we are about to move into a second phase of the digital revolution, a phase which will be more about public than private value; about free, not pay services; about inclusivity, not exclusion.” Yeah! He’s totally right! I hope other people start following suit with this idea, because its a goddamn great one!
