Infrasound
BBC article about a study in ultra-low infrasonic frequencies and how they aren’t audible, but produce physical and emotional reactions in people. They are talking about how church organs frequently emit these sorts of sound, and how possibly some of the feelings associated with religious worship are actually triggered by these low frequencies. Same thing with hauntings, that people may actually be experiencing infrasounds, and interpreting it as paranormal sensory experiences. Interesting research, whether or not I totally agree with the way its being interpreted.
