As to the garbage truck full of horse-shit, it was the second worst smell ever recorded by nose. The first worst was the day they cleaned the meat-trap in the butcher’s department at the Whole Foods grocery store I worked at (it smelled like rotting meat + the worst diarrhea imaginable).

As to the burned man, he kept cracking jokes and trying to get this girl on the subway to talk to him. She was very polite, but obviously wasn’t having it. I’m glad I’m not a girl so I don’t have to put up with whackos with burned faces hitting on me merely because I possess “boobs”.

As to the rat’s disappearing act, I was approaching it on a dark street by my house, and was making sure to make a good clatter, so as to scare it off before I got close. Much to my surprise it disappeared down the smallest possible opening you could have imagined.
