Many thanks to Fish-Loins-Afire for pointing out the great resource on Hakim Bey and Ontological Anarchy. Also, I still don’t know anything about this Hakim Bey person, but I like the fact that he also ‘writes as’ Peter Lamborn Wilson.
In cog-neat-o
I love when people use pseudonyms. I also like when they call them “Nom de guerre” (french for war name). Maybe I will assume one while travelling cross country. Wouldn’t that be something? Hey! Maybe I really will! When I first said that, I meant it more as just like for writing that I did while I was cross country. But what if I did it altogether? Went in cognito? Only revealed my true identity when absolutely necessary? Goddammit! That would be such a fucking hoot!
I don’t even know if I would be able to keep it up! Shit! What if! This idea is so cool and weird feeling that I have to think about it some more. Man, me and my very own “nom de guerre”. I wonder what it would be? I have a couple ideas. I wonder if I should tell you them or keep it secret. It would be so fucking bizarre if I told people this other name while travelling (of course, my cover would be blown wherever I needed ID, but that wouldnt be for most things, really).
What are some cool names I could travel under? Anybody?
