Mind Games
Great stuff from Zug, about the mind games you play with yourself when you’re bored, and how messed up people’s are.
Hehe. I like this one: “Sometimes, when I’m driving at night in a snow storm, I like to pretend I’ve jumped into hyperspace.”
These rule too:
- …sometimes if I’m in a public place, like a mall, I’ll wonder, if I had a machine gun, and everyone else had a machine gun, and we were wearing opposing armies’ uniforms, how long would I last? Would I be good enough to get out alive?
…Sometimes I look around a building and wonder, if gravity suddenly reversed, would I be able to stand on this ceiling? And if so, could I climb to one of the doors? Or sometimes gravity goes sideways and I plan my escape through the building. Hallways become deathtrap pits when gravity turns sideways.
And this one: “When I’m driving, I’ll randomly pretend I’m firing missiles out the front of my truck. Nobody needs to piss me off. I just like firing missiles.”
