The Holy Robot band responds:

They wrote me back today, kind of a wussed out letter:

As a matter of fact No i/we have never heard of you before as a musician or a multimedia artist.

We have been playing together for over 3 years and had to change our name for the third time. I wrote a huge list of possible names and just thought of that and threw it on the list, the rest of the band chose that as the name.

I should have figured pretty much anything we think up will be someone’s name already.

If we say it’s homage and we link you, and acknowledge your existence that probably wouldnt make a difference would it?

sorry about this, i figured “the holy robot, no one else will have that as a name”silly me.

    keith

and my response:

yeah man, sorry. id like to record again under that name sometime soon, so it being a homage wouldnt have swayed me. next time, just type your prospective names into google and see what comes up. my stuff’s all over that shit, because ive spent a lot of effort getting that name out there. anyway, keep me posted when you change it and what you change it to.

    peace.

    tim
