The other day, when I said I hate DJ’s… well, I meant it in general, but I should have been more specific in terms of what I meant: I meant that I hate people on Friendster who call themselves DJ’s. Without fail, every single one of them has a photo of them doing their DJ thing. In my experience, you have two main kinds of Friendster DJ photos:

(1) the close up deep character shot, wherein the so-called DJ’s face is seen in three-quarters view, with headphones on, and usually with their eyes closed, because they are so into it. Oh, and they will frequently be touching one of the ears of the headphones (possibly to further indicate how much they “connect” with the music).

(2) the mid-range club action shot, where you see them, knee deep in their little audio set-ups, spin-spin-spinning away.

Oh how I hate these people…
