The demons of Yom Kippur
Monday we have off from work, cause they’s all Israeli here except us upstairs. Its Yom Kippur, which, according to my vast religious knowledge, is the Day of Atonement, the most holy day of the Jewish year. You can’t eat or drink or anything, and classically, they had the ceremony with the scape-goat, where they cast all the sins of the community on it, and then sent it out in the wilderness to meet Azazel. According to who you talk to, Azazel is a demon, or angel. He may also have been a hold-over from when the Jews weren’t monotheistic. Azazel is also the name of the demon in that movie “Fallen” with Denzel. Which is a great movie, by the way - never mind that its about demons, which makes it even better.
