Monday we have off from work, cause they’s all Israeli here except us upstairs. You can’t eat or drink or anything, and classically, they had the ceremony with the scape-goat, where they cast all the sins of the community on it, and then sent it out in the wilderness to meet Azazel. According to who you talk to, Azazel is a demon, or angel. He may also have been a hold-over from when the Jews weren’t monotheistic. Azazel is also the name of the demon in that movie “Fallen” with Denzel. Which is a great movie, by the way - never mind that its about demons, which makes it even better.
