I was just looking up some shit about Google advertising and came across this “make money fast and easy” ebook called Google Cash. Basically, if I understand it correctly, the premise is that you join a bunch of affiliate programs for different merchant websites - you know, where you get paid a fee for every referral click you send them which results in an order. (Most people just put that kind of shit on their site, and their visitors can click on it or whatever. I actually put one up earlier today for the web hosting company I use.) Then, you set up a Google AdWords campaign, where you basically advertise FOR them, but meanwhile use your affiliate ID in the referral URL. So, that way, whenever anyone searches for “cheap web hosting” they might see the ad that I (hypothetically) placed on behalf of my hosting company, click on it, sign up, and then I collect my referal amount. It actually sounds like kind of a sweet idea. I’m gonna look into this more, cause it seems like if you were smart about it, it could actually kinda pan out.
