Since so many people seem to have found my site while searching for jpeg’s of the tiger attacking Roy, I figure I owe them all an update into the weirdness, seeing as I have no actual photos of that. I don’t know how that rumor got started in the first place. Anyway, I just found this crazy article about how they took part of Roy’s skull and stored it in his stomach. Apparently when people undergo massive brain trauma, they will remove part of the skull, to accomodate swelling of the brain. There are two options of how to store the fragment. One is freeze it until its reading to go back on. The other is to put it inside a pouch and inserted in between the muscle and the fat of your stomach. For some reason this is a spot with “ample storage space,” this article claims. I’m a little disappointed no one told me about this before, because I’d really like to be optimizing my body storage space.
