This lady sounds like she was a hoot

The world’s oldest person (according to Guiness) died in Japan. Of her, it says:

    Born in 1887, when Japan was gradually opening up to the world after more than two centuries of isolation, Hongo was known for her love of “dancing” by waving her hands and for sleeping two days and then staying awake for the next two.

That’s pretty intense to be working on that kind of schedule. I guess all that “dancing” will do that to you though. Supposedly the world’s oldest man was from that same island and died a month ago. How come Japan wins the old age contest like that? I wonder who the title passes to now?
