Ooga-Booga
Boy am I tired. I did that old trick this morning where I got up at 10:15, took a shower, and then went back to sleep until 11:00, at which point I jumped out of bed and ambled slowly slowly down to the subway. Not hungover. Just tired. It’s been a big weekend. Bret and Doug came up, and still are up, although I’m here at work, because such things can’t be avoided. Lots of drinking. Lots of fun-ness. Lots of staying up till 6:00am. Lots of Mexican food and waiting for the subway. Lots of good conversations. Lots of love. Lots of pizza.
Today feels strange. This hot weather is messing my mind up something fierce. I’m drinking a Coke. I had a buttered bagel on the way in. What else today and tonight may hold, I can only guess. As Doug already pointed out on his post though, nothing at all outrageous happened that is worth describing. Good times though. I knew it would be an important weekend. I feel different than I did before it happened. And as Bill Murray says towards the end of Groundhog Day (easily one of my favorite movies), “Anything different is good.”
