I’m tired of people trying to say that Bush & Co. didn’t foresee a long bloody occupation of Iraq, and that they thought it would be easy and carefree. That’s a crock of shit. That’s just what they told people dammit, I’m sure that’s not what they really thought. I mean shit, they have some of the best military analysts and planners in the world. They aren’t going to be so fucking stupid as to just waltz into a war without any forethought or knowledge of the actual costs involved. That’s preposterous.
