I saw this guy a while ago on some tv show on Telemundo. While I didn’t understand the Spanish, it was easy enough to understand that he was turning himself into a tiger (of sorts), by way of tattooing, dental work, surgery, etc. It seems that now he is ready to go the next step and have fur from tiger pelts grafted onto his skin. He says:

“When I have the coat of a tiger, I feel I will have reached my goal in life.”

The first thing most people probably think when hearing about all this is that the man is absolutely and utterly out of his mind. But I think he is actually enacting some kind of shamanic magic (consciously or not), the magnitude of which is so outside the realm of normal human society that it is all but incomprehensible to the rest of us.

To me, the weird part of the story is that he holds down a well-paying job as a computer programmer. Imagine that office.
