This site has a very poorly organized take on a topic which I have never before heard of, but plan to investigate in more detail, that West Africans visited and settled in South America tens of thousands of years ago. Somehow they are connecting these West Africans to the Olmecs, and are saying there is linguistic, archaelogical and other evidence to support the connection. Plus, supposedly, the Olmecs had those giant stone heads some of which were distintly African in their features. This reminds me immediately also of how I’ve heard similar theories about the Chinese sailiing to South America as well, and how there are masks and other depictions of people from thousands of years ago which are clearly Chinese, especially compared to the other depictions of local people. I love this sorta ancient explorers type of shit.
