You know, Tom Waits is awesome, but I honestly can’t listen to him. Not in a way that he really deserves I think. I feel like it’s my fault though, and not his. But there are some songs that I really really love and could listen to over and over again forever. One of those is Come on up to the house which has a totally amazing line in it:

It’s a great song for when you’re feeling all black and blue, and you think there’s no chance of redemption left, and then BAM! There it is… waiting for you with open arms.
