How to be an asshole
This morning, Aron got some emails from a disheveled customer, whose item was backordered by our distributor, and who was notified of this fact. Apparently, that’s just not good enough for this guy though, because he felt compelled to send the following 11 emails, in the space of 5 minutes, to our customer service email address:
- 1. Can I get a tracking #
2. Can I get some help here?
3. Just a little help is all it takes
4. Is the staff handling too many complaints to return one email?
5. It must be hard to give good information,,just think if you where serving your country in Iraq. Would you still be giving the same service?
6. Are you tired of me, I’m tired of waiting and being told the wrong
information………….Can anyone in your staff help?
7. Its been over two weeks, does anyone care to help?
8. Can you tell me where my order is?
9. Can your operators stop telling me the part is in the mail, when it isn’t?
10. IT get darker earlier now, I could use the light bar sometime soon.
11. I don’t (Do Not) want to cancel my order, I’ve been waiting too long
without any information, you would take a month to credit my
account………………………………………………….
How big of a cocksucker is this guy? This shit really blows my mind. How could a grown-ass man go around thinking this kind of behavior is not only alright, but will actually help get something done? I don’t know. I could really go on and on about this at great length, but I really don’t even need to, because this madman did all the work for me. Number 5 especially fucks me up. I’d really like to distribute this guys name and email so people can write to him and tell him what a fuckface he is.

The guy has decided to send another barrage of emails. I forgot to mention that after he sent the initial volley, he called up, yelled at my man here, who calmly explained the backorder situation once more, and told the man that if he wanted to cancel his order, he was more than welcome to. The man said that he did not want to cancel. So instead, a few hours later, he sends us these:

13. I don’t know what kind of MIDDLE MAN COMPANY you have, but I called last
week to check on the status of the order, I was told it would be here
11/10/03 order was placed on 10/27/03, I called back on 11/11/03 and the
part is still in your warehouse.
The discount prices of 15% isn’t worth the wait, time or trouble your
company seems to offer. From what I hear this is normal operations. I’m
very disappointed with the service, and have the impression your just a
middle man company making a profit. I will stick with Cobra, Vance and
Hines etc directly and pay the slightly higher prices.
When you get some people with back bone that can get the job done right and
on time let the public know you changed management, your image and public
relations.
14. $ 215.00 isn’t worth the wait, nor incorrect information
15. Please don’t delete, forward all my mail to the management, they can use
something to do.
