The National Research Council, an arm of the National Academy of Sciences is calling for a national research initiative into weather modification. Stuff like cloud-seeding, where you try to make it rain by dropping crystals of silver iodide into clouds to help promote moisture accumulation or something. I’m not really sure of the details, but I know that it’s cool, and that it immediately calls to mind the HAARP program, which everyone says has been a secret government weather control program for years and years. Isn’t there talk that they know how to cause earthquakes too? I’ll have to look into that
