I like how often John Denver sings about smoking pot by a fire. It’s in at least three of his songs that I’ve heard so far. It’s always just nestled in there in such a way that you could easily miss it. It’s great. It reminds me of how I never did find a good person to enjoy some casual marijuana use with here. That’s too bad. I also wish I could sit by a fire too. That would be superb. It’s super cold here now. And I have this feeling like I’m just gonna hole myself up here all weekend, shivering, listening to John Denver, James Taylor and Simon & Garfunkel. Yeah, it’s a strange little place I find myself in at the moment.
