Bush to be greeted by jousters, but not protestors

In case you’ve been following the story about how the Bush administration has requested rolling “no protest zones” to accompany Bush wherever he goes while in England, so that he is never photographed simultaneously with protestors… well anyway, this just turned into a grammatical nightmare, as far as sentence structure is concerned… where was I? Oh right, instead of allowing people to protest Bush, they have set up some cheesy medieval style jousting tent outside Buckingham Palace to welcome Bush, and present a ridiculous caricature of British culture from the distant past, rather than looking at all at contemporary issues. How clever.
