Lorca

I want to check out this book, Poet in New York, by Federico Garcia Lorca, who I don’t know anything about except for a quote in a story on Oblivio.

“To see you naked is to remember the earth, the smooth earth,
    swept clean of horses.”

And also, he has an excellent quote from Jacob Boehme,

“Whatever the self describes, describes the self”

That one is particularly fantastic. Apparently he has a collection of a million and one fantastic quotes. Huzzah!

Plus a sort of related one from Anais Nin, culled from the archives of different site:

“Things aren’t the way they are, they’re the way you are.”

In fact, I like these last two ones so much that I’m gonna immortalize them ….
