Strange, it seems you can download a bunch of different of Philip K Dick’s books on KaZaa in pdf or Word documents. Plus there are ones in other languages and stuff. That seems really significant to me. I’ve never seen this for other authors - although I’ve never looked either.

    UPDATE!

    Holy crap! A second after I hit submit after typing out “quotes by dick & others,” the lyrics of this Crash Test Dummies song said “Here comes Dick…” from the song Androgynous. The two incidences happened literally within a second of each other. Crazy.

    That kinda reminds me of the end of VALIS where he ends up sitting there in front of his TV, watching & waiting, trying to uncover the hidden communications from the divine which are emanating from the tv… which relates back to the quote, which I think is also from VALIS:

      “The symbols of the divine show up in our world initially at the trash stratum.”
