Let’s hope this works

I just had the bright idea to check if there was an Internet Explorer setting that will allow you disable any sounds that might play on web pages. There is just such an option. Although I have yet to really put it through it’s paces. If you go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia > Play sounds on web pages. Or something like that. You should see a check box with that item. I hope it works. That would be a real asset… although, I guess I would have to go and turn it on if ever I was looking at a video or something in my browser? I’m not sure. It might just disable like those annoying MIDI files and waves that people sometimes embed in their pages. If that’s all it does, that would be nice.
