Last night I saw the Return of the King. I’ve no intention to talk about the movie though, cause like what can I say really. It did inspire all sorts of epic dreams afterwards though, I’ll tell you that much. Anyway, the story I wanted to tell happened just before the movie. There was that series of advertisements that they now have before movies. One of which was this stuntman describing like how he puts his life on the line to make these movies, and all this other crap. And then he launches into something about how downloading movies puts people out of work, to which I promptly yelled out a “Fuck you!” And there was more blabbering about this and that and how everyone is evil who downloads stuff online. Not so much in those words of course, but that didnt stop me from sticking my right hand straight up into the air, middle finger flying high for the remainder of the propaganda broadcast.

Anyway, after it was all over, this guy sitting two seats to my right, turns and says to his girlfriend, sitting right next to me, “It’s amazing how stupid some people are.” To which she wholeheartedly agreed. I, of course, couldn’t agree with them more. Even though I’m all but certain they were talking about me. I should have stood up and slapped that guy in the head. Instead I decided to enjoy the rest of the previews. And that worked out just fine.
