I just realized kind of an odd coincidence. My mom has a website called “ChristKey,” and in the top left corner is a picture of a key (pictured below).
This of course reminded me that I too have a key image in the upper left hand corner of my site. Both images are religious in origin also. My mom’s has the Christian symbol of the Chi Ro, and mine is a reference to a theft at the Vatican earlier this year, of St Peter’s keys from a statue.
Of course, the connotations of each are very different, but the coincidence seems important to me.
