This article says that something like 14 million American adults have nightmares every night. Goddamn! That’s so much. I almost never have nightmares. I don’t remember the last one I did have actually. Maybe like a couple years ago when me and my fiancee were breaking up. But I was a miserable wreck anyway. So it wasn’t like the nightmares were coming from nowhere. But yeah, normally my dreams don’t ever reach that bad level. I mean, they get weird, but you know. A girl I was friends with in Baltimore used to always talk about how she had horrible nightmares all the time about getting murdered and stuff.
