I had one of those dreams last night that I tend to have wherein me and a small band of people are fighting some sort of huge horrible monster. As I recall, the brunt of the fighting took place inside some kind of big mansion around an old elaborate staircase. We were at the top of it and the huge monster was below, raging away. We were stabbing it over and over with spears and long swords. I think somebody may have ripped off one of its arms and had run the monster through with its own claws as well, like what happens at the end of Freddy Vs. Jason. But the damn thing just wouldn’t fucking die. We thought we had ran through its heart, and it fell for a moment, only to spring back up again. So finally, I remember being there at the bottom of the staircase, with this huge curved sword in my hand, standing over the damn thing, stabbing over and over through its bony carapace, trying to find the thing’s heart, and upset all its vital organs until finally it was dead. It was bloody and vicious and a great dream.

Later on I had a dream about having a party in some kind of basement apartment that I seemed to recognize, but now can’t place. There were lots of people and we were drinking and smoking, and I remember that actress Brittany Murphy was there, who does the voice of Luanne of King of the Hill. And I remember drinking a Yuengling and thinking about how nice her legs were.
