Supposedly, Bush is going to propose the creation of a permanent base on the moon next week, with a continuing human presence there. And then after that, move on to Mars. I think this is a great idea. Much more fun than attacking countries illegally and instilling fear in everybody. It makes me not hate him as much, but that’s probably part of what it’s designed to do as a policy. But I mean, fuck, everybody should want a permanent moon base. That’s so damn cool. You just can’t argue with that.
