Memory modeling



I remember reading an article maybe a year ago about a new field in advertising, which deals with influencing people’s memories of shopping experiences after it’s all over. Has anybody else seen this? Can you send me a link? I can’t find it. Maybe somebody influenced my memory so that I only thought I remembered it, instead of actually really remembering it.

I feel like Philip K. Dick would have a lot to say about all of this.
