I’ve never been so irritated at a retail item in my life. I am doing some data entry on a pair of casual boots from a company called Sidi. They don’t have it on their website, but the text in the catalog is absolutely infuriating:

…The lug rubber sole will take a beating and the reinforced toe area with internal steel toe will allow the wearer to kick terrorist ass if required to defend our freedoms.

That makes me so mad I could scream!

At least on their official site, they had the good sense to change it to “…will allow the wearer to kick some serious ass.” Which I then further modified on our site to “…will allow the wearer to kick some serious ass, or help mom out in the kitchen.” Because that’s a much better message to be sending people, I think.
