A quick interesting item from About’s paranormal section about AnimalsFound Sealed in Stone. Seems that in the 17 and 1800’s, there were a bunch of “well-documented” cases people finding live toads and lizards which were completely encased in stone, with no discernible way that they had entered, or how they had survived in there. Some cases even report that there was an impression in the rock cavity in the shape and size of the animal. Also, there was supposedly a group of miners who in the 1850’s in France, found a living pterodactyl in the same condition. It all seems highly unlikely, but fun nonetheless.
