I haven’t the foggiest what sparked all this, but apparently, Tom Cruise recently had this to say about psychiatry:

“There’s nothing scientific about it. Communication is a good thing, but I think people get more mentally out of having a good meal or going for a walk. I think psychiatry should be outlawed.”

The article this came from really casts no more light on why he said this. I really wish it did. Instead, it just ends with a quote from a psychiatrist taking a cheap shot at him cause he’s a scientologist. Which is also weird.
