Apparently, in some cities in Virginia, you can get arrested for getting drunk AT A BAR! Completely true story, as mind-boggling as it is. Undercover police arrested 9 people over the holidays, after they failed sobriety tests at the bars. They are charged with public intoxication - and the law there states bars & restaurants as public spaces. That’s one of the most fucked up things I’ve heard in a long ass time.
