I’ve been reconsidering getting a motorcycle, now that my cross-country trip has been delayed indefinitely and I’ll be staying around Baltimore. It seems like it would be a lot cheaper than having, repairing and insuring a shitty car (one online quote said I’d only have to pay like $84 a month for coverage - but who knows). Although there are plenty of other trade-offs. Anyway, I was just looking over at the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration’s Motorcycle Safety Courses, and wanted to bookmark them for later use. Also, it seems that in Maryland (unlike NY), you don’t HAVE to take the safety course, but you do get an “M” class license when you successfully pass it. But it seems to be a bitch to get into, with some weird lottery system and a waiting list. Sounds like bullshit to me. But I’ll get back at this later…
